Three and a half years after Padbol arrived in Romania, many events, successful competitions and  he creation of several Padbol clubs in different regions of the country, the Ministry of Youth and Sports issued the Order for the official recognition of the practice of Padbol.

“The official recognition is a great sporting achievement for us, especially now when we expect to have an infrastructure explosion across the country, this year Padbol will be launched in more than 10 major cities, so we will have at least that number of new Padbol clubs in Romania, also contributing to the education of children and youth through sports. Surely in a very short time we will also meet the conditions to establish a National Federation and organize a National Padbol Championship” said Elisabeta Gherghisan, President of the Romanian Padbol Association.
